This work is a permanent installation in the Blue Mountains Food Co-operative store in Katoomba.
It was commissioned in 2024 to encapsulate the Blue Mountains, the mist and the local community garden being farmed with the image of the universal farmer tending the land.
The food is planted and grows from seedling to plant and then to flower. This develops to the produce that meanders onto the produce boxes which are used as the canvas.
Initially structured in charcoal and pastel, and then finished in acrylics.
